Leaving Rebun Island !

by Kazu

The gray sky and the lead color ocean seemed to take over the island on that day.But a ray of sunshine gave a spot light on a certain part of the ocean. It was like a light of hope.
This huge rock is called "Momo-iwa" which means Peach Rock in Japanese. It is located at  the center part of the island.
A weird scenery of huge rocks reigned on top of the island.
The west side of the island had been carved by the strong wind from the northwest for so long long time that the west coast had many cliffs like a citadel against the west.
